Profile : Solution Architect, Solution Lead & Solution Developer

TCS’ Hi-Tech Practice focuses on companies in Semiconductor & Electronics, Hardware, Software &

Services Companies. TCS has strong technology and innovation focus, technology alliances and key

partnerships with the major technology companies. Hi-Tech Practice is targeting aggressive growth

by providing end-to-end solutions to the dynamic and highly innovative Hi-Tech industry.
Hi-Tech Practice is looking for industry experienced associates to help TCS move up the value

chain by providing innovative and best-in-class solutions.

Role Description

-Identify and build Hi-Tech industry specific domain offerings / solutions.
-Prepare Sales and Marketing kit for offerings in Hi-Tech domain.
-Educate account teams and sales teams on offerings / solutions as business growth driver.
-Brand TCS Hi-Tech practice by various ways such as participation in conferences, papers and

forums.
-Help in proposal preparations / reviews, user demos and presentations.
-Build domain experts by conducting domain focused training / workshops.
-Coordinate with account teams to consolidate and spread domain knowledge.
-Provides consulting services in engagements as needed.


Eligibility criteria:
-Solution Architect: Over 7 years of IT experience with minimum of 4-5 years in one or more of

practice focus areas.

-Solution Lead: Over 5 years of IT experience with minimum of 3 years in one or more of practice

focus areas.

-Solution Developer: Over 3 years of IT experience with minimum of 1 year in one or more of

practice focus areas.

-Experience in practice focus areas such as
- SAP implementations for Hi-Tech customers using SAP NetWeaver, SAP-BW, SAP-APO and CRM
- Supply Chain Management for Semiconductor, Electronics and Hardware companies
- CRM solutions on Order management, Warranty management, Price Optimization and License &

Entitlements Management
- Product Lifecycle Management solutions for Hi-Tech customers
- Logo Certification, Product Certification and Testing
- Embedded Systems – Device driver / Firmware development and testing, Automated frameworks
- SOA based implementations
- BI and Analytics based solutions
- Java and .Net technologies for building integrations with enterprise systems such as

using SAP NetWeaver.
-Strong analytical skills to analyze the industry challenges, analyze available standard

solutions and build solution offerings.
-Past experience with Hi-Tech customers - Hardware, Software and Services, Semiconductor and

Electronics.
-Good Presentation and Communication skills.
