Position being sought: Technical Lead
Key Result Areas:
• Manage the team to achieve predictable and timely releases of software
• Contribute to PRPC product roadmap and feature planning
• Initiate and manage efforts to improve the quality of the product
• Help build the team and grow skills of the group
• Communicate features of the product, best practices, and conventions inside and outside the company and organize feedback for product evolution
• Other responsibilities and key result areas as required or assigned.
Critical Competencies
• Java development experience
• Strong Web development skills, JSP, JavaScript, XML, DOM, Ajax
• Extensive experience building and delivering enterprise scale systems. Expert level understanding of state of the art technologies. Workflow/BPM product development experience plus.
• Experience leading teams of software developers.
• Software lifecycle management and methodology
• Keen awareness and understanding of the business and the environment.
• Exercises excellent judgment in making sound, well informed, fact-based decisions.
• Articulates and is able to explain Pegasystems’ businesses; possesses a real familiarity with the company’s end products and their uses.
• Develops and uses procedures to monitor/ track the results of assignments, programs, or projects.
• Uses knowledge of systems, situations, pressures and culture inside the organization to identify potential organizational problems and opportunities.
• Proper documentation and transfer of knowledge to ensure repeatability and scalability.
• Governs and tracks projects using requisite documentation, process and procedure
