Job Description
- Manage development teams of 5 to 10 people from project definition through implementation
- Assume responsibility for overall design and implementation, using the latest tools available
- Provide technical know-how, support, mentoring & coaching team members on technology, business & other project specific aspects
- Responsible for delivery of all engineering artifacts in the project including requirements specs, design specs, test plans/cases, code and deployment documentation
Desired Profile
- 5 to 6 years of overall experience of which 2 yrs in a Development Lead/Project Lead position
- Strong development experience with Java/Oracle Forms6i or Developer 2000/Oracle Database 8i and above/Crystal reports 8.5 and above
- Strong knowledge of design patterns, architecture and unit testing
- Leadership experience in assessing staff skill levels, assigning work appropriately, directing team in specific project activities, estimation, and facilitating career development
- Experience with relational databases is a must
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ideally with an academic background in Computer Science or Engineering
