Reporting to a Development Manager you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable and reliable components for platform support packages. You will be responsible for the design and development of mission critical software components for log data collection and analysis, using Perl and Unix Scripts, standard TCP/IP transports and commercial log management technologies.
Requirements
•4+ Years of strong technical experience
•A thorough understanding of logging architectures and development methodologies are! required.
•Complete development life cycle experience from design through implementation and support
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team following established guidelines
•Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to produce and review project technical documents and provide input as required.
•3+ Years professional experience systems administration on Unix/Linux Platform
•3+ Years experience with Perl and Unix Shell Scripting
•1+ Years experience with commercial LMS
Education/Certification
• B.E. in Computer Science or related field
