Job Description
Review Feature Requirement Specifications to generate test strategy for each product release.
Act as test architect to create appropriate test plans, test cases and test scripts against the defined test strategy.
Evaluate test methodologies and automation technologies to increase test coverage and detection of product defects within the product development timescales -- increase efficiency of defect detection and lab utilization through enhanced tooling, work practices and collaboration with the design, support and engineering lab teams.
Work with design and other Nortel development teams to resolve the product defects found during the development cycle. Understand each issue and its potential impact upon the stability of the product and the impact to Nortel's customers.
Work with Field Support team to analyze the product defects found in customer networks, and feedback any test escapes back into the test activities.
